The weather has warmed up and the rivers are dropping. Time to find some gold!
In the last couple of weeks I have been to the high Sierra gold fields - 6000 foot elevation down to the lower rivers - 2000 foot elevation.
The high country is perfect right now. Still cool and there is plenty of water. The lower rivers have come down quite a bit but there is still a little to much water for sniping if you want to get to the gut of the river.
I'm thinking maybe 2 to 3 more weeks then most all the rivers will be workable.
I'm working on a couple of " how to" videos right now, in addition the regular prospecting ones.
