The last several weeks have been very wet! We have been getting two or three days of rain, then a day or two of cloudy weather then back to rain. All the rain is great for the coming summer and I enjoy a relaxing day at the house when its raining outside. But cabin fever is starting to rear its ugly head.
All the creeks and rivers are running very high right now, great for moving the gold around, but not so good for prospecting!
I will have to check out the rivers that have some flow control on them, they might be workable. I am trying to get the "how to do research" video done. I have several indoor videos I can get done while its raining, but I want to go to the hills!
All the good gold fields in the high country are under several feet of snow now, it will be May or June before we will be able to get back in.
This is a good time to get all your tools back into proper working order, replace the ones that are shot or lost, and get everything put into the backpack and ready to go for next season.
Don't forget to do your research and locate several new areas to try as soon as the weather allows.
