end of year message

There hasn't been any rain for the last two weeks, and the weather man says, there will be none for the next two weeks. This means we can still head up to the hills for some prospecting. The rainy day videos I had scheduled to work on this month, are on hold for now. If the weather is good I'm going mining. There are a few problems when prospecting this time of year, its cold out, you can't get into the water (to cold) and there isn't much daylight especially down in the canyons. On the good side, there are no ticks or mosquitoes, you don't have to worry about rattlesnakes, and I don't get as fat because I'm still able to do some hiking. The best part - its very late in the season and your still finding gold!

　

I have several videos in mind I would like to work on. One that I want to do very soon is, how to detect a hydraulic pit. The pit I want to work, is about 5000 feet in elevation. I'm not sure if I will be able to get in. I have plans to check it out this weekend. The other is to hike back in and check out the river, I want to see if its down enough to get across, If it is, I will be finishing the highbank part 2 video.
　
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have supported me and without any complaints, put up with me trying to learn how to make videos. It has been a lot of fun and I really enjoy the community we have created. I wish all of you the very best in the coming year, and I thank all of you for allowing me to share my passion with you.
