The rain is starting to give way to spring, but the roads are still too wet to get anywhere in the hills. I had the weekend free, so I decided to make a video on how to make a crevice tool out of a windshield wiper. This is something I would do every winter to get ready for the coming mining season.
This got me thinking about this coming season. It should be a good year for prospecting, the hills are a beautiful green and the years of debris buildup in the rivers have been flushed clean. I am not to sure about the condition of the roads. The Forest Service is doing everything they can to shut down the roads. I fear if a road had been damaged by the winter, they will close it rather than repair it. Makes you wonder why we pay for an organization that is trying to keep us out of the woods.
