Well I'm back home now. I'm in the process of trying to get back into the work routine. After sitting in a boat and eating all day for six weeks, I have a few extra pounds to walk off and I need to get back into hiking shape!
Can't think of a better way to do that, then to go prospecting.
This time of year the rivers are as low as there going to get. The water is starting to get cold but, this is the best time of year to do some sniping. After the weather get colder we can start working the crevices out of the water but down as low to the water as you can get. As the rain starts to fill the creeks, we will just work the crevices up a little higher. When the river gets to high, we will go treasure hunting.
I love the fall in the mountains! The days are nice and cool and there is a million thing to do!
I'm going to go get my tools sharpened and make sure they are all in the pack, because I'm heading to the hills to do some sniping!
